Consultation is hosted by Rebecca Tatum, EMDRIA Consultant and Licensed Professional Counselor, and includes a cohort for those seeking to become EMDRIA Certified and those who are Consultants-In-Training (CIT) seeking EMDRIA Consultant status.
Consultation will include specialized discussions and support relating to both foundational and advanced concepts of EMDR; including EMDR intensives, IFS-Informed EMDR, and attachment/somatically-focused EMDR.
Experiential learning is the core of consultation where Certification consultees will engage in the 8 phases of EMDR from the client's seat and CITs will engage in consultation as both student and teacher.
Certification Consultation
Consultees will actively participate in the phases of EMDR from the client's perspective to fully immerse themselves in the EMDR experience and engage in reflection of the mind-body experience of EMDR.
Group consultation will include active practicing of reflective, experiential techniques to enhance comprehension of EMDR.
Group consultation is offered on the second Monday of the month, 10 am - 12 pm MST.
Consultant-In-Training Consultation
Consultants-In-Training (CIT) seeking Approved Consultant status will actively participate in Experiential Consultation-of-Consultation to guide them through a reflective and comprehensive understanding of their teaching style as a consultant and to immerse themselves in the process of teaching EMDR to consultees.
Group Consultation-of-Consultation will include role-play and active practicing of reflective, experiential techniques to embody the art of teaching EMDR.
Group consultation is offered on the fourth Monday of the month, 10 am - 12 pm MST.
